关于此应用
godl is a version manager for the Godot game engine, published by sockeye-d (also credited as fishnpotatoes or fishy) and released under the MIT license. It addresses the situation where one machine needs several engine builds at the same time: instead of tracking archives and folders by hand, the tool keeps a set of Godot versions on disk and lets the user choose which one is active or which one opens a given project.
Its scope is narrow. The program manages engine installations and nothing beyond that — it does not edit scenes, compile game code, or stand in for the engine's own editor. Any work on an actual project still happens inside whichever Godot version godl hands over.
The entry covers Linux only, so anyone on another operating system will need a different tool or a manual installation. Because the code is MIT-licensed, it may be read, modified, and redistributed under those terms.
