关于此应用

Francis is a time tracking utility for the Linux desktop, released by the KDE Community with Felipe Kinoshita as author. Its scope is narrow: start a count, let it run while you work on a task, and read off how long the interval lasted. Timing is done while the work happens rather than reconstructed from memory at the end of the day.

As a KDE application it follows the conventions of that desktop, presenting a small single-window interface intended to sit beside whatever else is open. It is a personal timing tool, not a project management or accounting system, so there is no invoicing, client billing, or team reporting layer described here. Anyone needing those functions would keep Francis for the measurement step and export or copy figures elsewhere.

Distribution is limited to Linux; no Windows, macOS, or mobile builds are listed. The licence is GPL-3.0-or-later, which means the source can be read, modified, and redistributed under those terms, including by packagers who want to ship it for a particular distribution.
