FreeSoft Hub has no user accounts and runs no analytics of its own. It does show adverts served by Google AdSense, and those set cookies. This page describes what we process, what Google processes, why, and for how long.

1. The short version

  • We set no tracking cookies of our own and run no analytics or profiling scripts of our own.
  • Public pages load Google AdSense. Google places its own cookies and may use them to choose which advert you see. That processing is Google’s, under Google’s terms — the section below says what you can do about it.
  • Adverts are never loaded in the admin area, and we publish an /ads.txt file naming the sellers authorised to sell advertising on this domain.
  • Our own servers never receive your IP address. The site is served through a reverse proxy, so the address our application logs is the proxy’s internal address, identical for every visitor.
  • We run no analytics of our own: no page-view counter, no session recording, no device fingerprinting.
  • We do not sell personal data, do not share it with data brokers, and do not use it to build profiles.
  • We have no user accounts, so we hold no names, no passwords and no payment details.

2. What we process, and why

  • Server logs. For each request: the requested path, the HTTP status, the response time, the user agent and the referrer — plus the internal proxy address described above, which identifies nobody. Purpose: keeping the service running, spotting outages, and detecting abusive request patterns. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the site.
  • Language preference. If you switch language, that choice is stored in a cookie so the site remembers it. Purpose: making the site work as you asked it to.
  • Our content delivery network. Traffic reaches us through a CDN, which necessarily sees your IP address in order to route the request and to block attacks. That processing is the CDN’s, under its own terms; we do not receive the address from it and we run no analytics on its side.
  • Google AdSense. To serve an advert, Google receives your IP address, the page you are on and its own cookies. Google is an independent controller for that processing; we receive only aggregate earnings figures and never see an individual reader’s data. You can review and change your advert settings in your Google account, and you can refuse or withdraw consent through the consent step shown where the law requires one.
  • Messages you send us. If you write to us about a correction, a complaint or a takedown, we keep your message and our reply for as long as needed to handle it and to show that we handled it.

3. Cookies

We set one functional cookie of our own and no analytics cookie. Google AdSense sets its own cookies, which is why a consent step applies where the law requires one — see below.

  • Language cookie (ours) — remembers the language you chose so that the bare “/” address sends you to the right place. Lifetime: up to one year.
  • Advertising cookies (Google’s) — set by AdSense to measure and select adverts. We neither read nor control them; their names, lifetimes and purposes are described in Google’s own advertising and privacy notices.
  • Theme setting — whether you asked for the light or dark appearance. This is NOT a cookie: it is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key “fsh2_theme”, it is never sent to our servers, and clearing your site data removes it.

4. What we never do

  • We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, under any conditions.
  • We do not embed social widgets or third-party tag managers. The only third-party script on the site is Google AdSense.
  • We do not fingerprint devices, and we do not attempt to identify visitors across sessions.
  • We do not track which download links you follow in a way that could be linked back to you.

5. How long we keep things

  • Server logs: 30 days, then deleted. They contain no visitor IP address at any point — see section 2.
  • We keep no usage statistics of our own, so there is nothing here for us to retain. Advertising cookies are Google’s and are kept for the periods stated in Google’s own notices.
  • Correspondence: kept for as long as the matter is open, and afterwards for the period required to demonstrate that a complaint was handled correctly.

6. Processors and where the data is held

The site and its database run on infrastructure located in [CẦN ĐIỀN: quốc gia/khu vực đặt máy chủ và nhà cung cấp hạ tầng]. The one processor outside that infrastructure is Google, for the adverts described in section 2. We transfer nothing to anyone else for analytics or profiling.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to processing, to restrict it, or to complain to a supervisory authority.

In practice we hold very little that can be traced to an individual: our logs contain no visitor IP address, so a log line cannot be linked to you. Write to [CẦN ĐIỀN: địa chỉ email phụ trách dữ liệu cá nhân] and we will reply within thirty days.

8. Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Since there are no accounts, we ask for no age, no name and no contact details.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and a summary of what changed stays here for at least thirty days.
