Tentang aplikasi ini

C* Music Player, commonly known as cmus, is a text-based audio player designed for the Linux terminal. It utilizes a ncurses-based interface to allow users to navigate through music libraries, create playlists, and control playback using keyboard shortcuts. The application supports a wide range of audio formats, including Ogg Vorbis, MP3, FLAC, and WAV, and handles large music collections by indexing files into a local database for rapid searching and sorting.

The player is structured into multiple views, such as a library view, a playlist view, and a file browser, which users can toggle between to manage their audio files. It includes features for gapless playback, replay gain, and customizable key bindings. Because it runs entirely within the command line, it consumes minimal system resources, making it suitable for environments where graphical interfaces are not preferred or available.
