Certificate manager and cryptography app

Kleopatra is the KDE front-end for GnuPG. It manages OpenPGP keys and the X.509 certificates used for S/MIME, presenting both in one list with owner, key identifier, expiry date and trust state, so a keyring can be inspected without recalling gpg command syntax.
From the window a new key pair can be generated, keys imported and exported, other people's keys certified, expiry dates extended and revocation prepared. Keys can be looked up on a keyserver or fetched from a Web Key Directory. Files are signed, encrypted, decrypted and checked against their signatures from the same interface, and a built-in notepad does the same for text pasted into it rather than for files on disk. A smartcard holding a key, such as an OpenPGP card, is detected and managed from its own view.
Kleopatra is a user interface, not a separate implementation. The cryptography is carried out by GnuPG underneath, so the keyring it displays is the same one the gpg command line uses, and either can be used on the same material.
