关于此应用

Halloy is a client for IRC, the Internet Relay Chat protocol. It handles the everyday work of that protocol: opening connections to chat servers, joining named channels, sending and receiving plain-text messages, and carrying on private conversations with individual users. If your team, project, or community already keeps a presence on an IRC network, this is the kind of program that sits between you and that network.

The program is written in Rust and comes from The Squidowl Development Team. Packaging information here lists Linux as the only platform, so readers on Windows or macOS should consult the project itself rather than assume availability.

It is released under GPL-3.0-or-later. In practice that means the source code is available to read and modify, and anyone redistributing a modified build must offer it under the same licence terms.
