关于此应用

GPXSee is a viewer and analyzer for GPS log files, intended for people who record tracks with handheld receivers, phones, or sports watches and want to inspect the result afterwards. It opens a recorded log and presents it both as a route drawn over a map background and as a set of readings derived from the points in the file, so a session can be reviewed locally rather than uploaded to an online service first.

The analysis side works from what the log itself contains: position, time, and whatever additional channels the recording device stored. From these the program produces graphs and summary figures for a track, which makes it possible to compare parts of an outing or to see where a recording drifted or stopped. Several files can be held open together so that logs are read side by side instead of one at a time.

The project is published by Martin Tůma under the GPL-3.0 licence. This entry describes the Linux build; the packaging listed here targets Linux only, so anyone on another operating system needs to look for a separate distribution.
