Take and annotate screenshots

Flameshot takes screenshots and lets you mark them up before they leave the screen. Starting a capture dims the display and you drag out a rectangle; the selection can then be nudged edge by edge with the keyboard, and a small toolbar appears beside it holding the drawing tools.
Annotation happens on the capture itself: arrows, rectangles, circles, a freehand pen, a highlighter, text with adjustable size and colour, an incrementing counter for numbering steps in a procedure, and blur or pixelation for covering parts of the image. Edits can be undone one at a time. When the markup is done the result can be copied to the clipboard, saved to a file, opened in another application, uploaded to an image host, or pinned to the desktop as a small always-on-top window.
A command-line interface performs the same operations for scripts and custom keyboard shortcuts, including full-screen and single-monitor captures with an optional delay. Wayland support goes through the desktop portal and is less complete than on X11, with behaviour that differs between GNOME, KDE and other compositors.
