aka Alarm is an Android alarm clock built around a wake-up window instead of a single fixed minute. You give it a span of up to thirty minutes, and it rings at the point in that span where it judges you to be already stirring, on the premise that leaving sleep from a lighter phase is less abrupt than being pulled out of a deeper one.
The practical consequence is that the ring time is approximate by design. You accept being woken somewhat before your latest acceptable time in exchange for waking at a moment you are nearer to consciousness. The facts at hand do not state which signals the app reads to decide that you are stirring, so that is worth confirming before depending on it for something with a hard deadline.
