ADBungFu, from oF2pks, is an Android front end for privileged shell operations that would otherwise be typed out by hand. It issues commands through a superuser channel — su on a rooted system, or Magisk where that is what supplies root — and also works with an ADB shell, so the same operations can be run either on the device or from a connected host.
Its main areas are app operations and package state. It reads and sets the per-application appOps permissions that AOSP maintains behind the ordinary permission screens, and it freezes and unfreezes installed packages, disabling an application without uninstalling it or losing its data. Alongside these it exposes a general path for running ADB commands, which covers cases the built-in screens do not.
The application is a wrapper, not a privilege escalation tool: it needs root or an authorised ADB shell already in place, and without one its functions cannot be applied. It targets Android only and is distributed under GPL-3.0-or-later.
