Manuskript is an open-source text editing tool tailored for authors and writers organizing large-format projects such as novels and books. The application implements the Snowflake Method to help users expand their writing from a single sentence premise into fully developed plot outlines, character sheets, and world-building notes. It separates the writing process from structural planning, enabling authors to manage chapters, scenes, and outlines within a single project tree.

Running on Linux platforms under the GNU General Public License version 3.0, the software includes distraction-free writing modes, statistical tracking of word counts, and compilation tools to export finished manuscripts into various document formats.
