Kontrast is a developer and designer utility created by the KDE community to evaluate the contrast ratio between text and background colors. It helps users determine whether color combinations comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines standards for readability. Users input a foreground and background color, and the application calculates the contrast score, indicating its effectiveness for standard and large text elements.

Built for Linux environments, Kontrast provides a straightforward interface where color values can be entered manually using hexadecimal codes or selected directly from a visual picker.
