gLabels is an application designed for the GNOME desktop environment to help users create labels, business cards, and media covers. It provides a document-centric user interface where users can define custom paper formats or select from a built-in catalog of standard label and card templates. Elements such as text, images, barcodes, and geometric shapes can be placed precisely onto the canvas using alignment tools and grid snapping.

The software reads data from external sources such as CSV files, vCard files, or other text-based lists to generate multiple labels in a single batch, making it useful for mailings and name tags.
