Baby Phone

Baby Phone turns an Android device into a pretend telephone for a small child. Instead of placing real calls, it offers a mock dialling surface a toddler can press while imitating an adult on the phone, which suits children who reach for a parent's handset and want something of their own to hold.

Distribution is limited to Android, so tablets and phones running that system are the only targets; there is no build for other platforms. Because the phone is simulated, the app is not a way to teach a child to make genuine emergency or family calls, and adults wanting that should treat it as pretend play rather than instruction.
