Giới thiệu ứng dụng
gpuvis is a GPU trace visualizer for Linux. It takes recorded trace data and lays the events out along a time axis, so that work submitted to the GPU can be read in relation to the surrounding activity on the machine. Rather than reducing a run to aggregate numbers, it keeps individual events in sequence, which suits questions about ordering, gaps and duration.
The working method is navigation of a timeline: events occupy rows, and a chosen interval can be widened until single events are distinguishable. This makes it an instrument for after-the-fact reading of a capture, not a live meter. A capture step therefore comes first, and the program is used on the resulting trace.
The listing covers Linux only, so it is not an option where the analysis has to happen on another desktop platform. Michael Sartain publishes it under the MIT license.
