GPS Locker

GPS Locker is an Android utility for keeping the device’s GPS receiver active instead of letting location fixes lapse when another app is not requesting them. It is intended for situations where a continuous satellite lock is useful, such as navigation, logging, field work, or testing software that depends on location availability.

The application focuses on a narrow task: maintaining a GPS lock on an Android device. It does not provide a mapping interface or route planning by itself; it works alongside other applications that use location data. Its scope is therefore mainly device behavior management, helping reduce the delay that can occur when the receiver has to reacquire a fix after being idle.
