AutoDND

AutoDND is an Android tool that switches Do Not Disturb on and off according to which app is in use. The user nominates the apps that should run undisturbed, and the tool enables DND when one of them comes to the foreground, then restores the previous state afterwards. This suits situations such as reading, gaming or watching video, where incoming notification sounds and pop-ups interrupt the task at hand.

The premise is deliberately small: the app manages a list of applications and a system mode, without a wider scheduling or automation model. It is published by dic1911 under the AGPL-3.0-only license, which covers network use as well as redistribution. The build targets Android only. Because DND and foreground-app detection are both governed by the operating system, the app depends on the permissions Android grants for those functions.
