aShell You

aShell You is an Android front end for running ADB commands. Instead of connecting the device to a computer and typing into a terminal on the desktop, the app issues shell commands from the phone or tablet itself, showing the output in a scrollable text view. It is aimed at the kind of tasks people normally reach for ADB to do: inspecting package state, changing settings that have no user-facing toggle, and querying system properties.

The interface follows Material You, so colours track the system wallpaper palette on Android versions that support dynamic theming. The app is published by DP Hridayan under the GPL-3.0-or-later licence.

Because the tool is an ADB client rather than a general-purpose emulator, its usefulness depends on the device being reachable over ADB in the first place, and the commands available are those the Android shell exposes. It runs on Android only; there is no desktop counterpart.
