About this application

Etcd Studio is a desktop client for etcd, the key-value store behind Kubernetes and many service-discovery setups. A Rust core speaks gRPC to the cluster directly, so traffic does not pass through a browser or a relay service. Connection profiles carry TLS material — CA, client certificate, SNI — while passwords go to the operating system keychain instead of the profile file.

The window is organised around a key explorer with prefix paging and a search that runs as substring or glob, an editor with JSON, YAML and XML modes plus a diff view, watch streams, lease management, user and role administration, and a cluster health panel.

Bulk work is handled carefully: an import is previewed as a dry run, writes are compare-and-swap against the revision that was read, and values about to be replaced are recorded locally first so an overwrite can be put back. Read-only mode and the warning on connections marked as production are enforced in the Rust layer, not in the interface. The product is proprietary and has no public download page yet.
