About this application

Web Apps is a Linux utility for installing websites as applications. Instead of opening a site manually in a browser each time, the user can create an app entry for it and launch it like other desktop software. This approach is suited to webmail, calendars, project tools, chat services, documentation sites, and other pages that form part of a regular workflow.

The application does not make the website independent from the network service behind it. The installed item remains a wrapper around web content, so its behavior is determined by the website and the web engine used to present it. Web Apps is published by Satvik Patwardhan and distributed under the GPL-3.0-or-later license.
