About this application
Qalculate! (GTK UI) is the GTK-based graphical interface for the Qalculate calculator on Linux. It is designed for calculations that go beyond a simple four-function calculator, while still presenting input and results in a desktop window rather than requiring command-line use.
The program can be used for ordinary arithmetic as well as more structured mathematical work, with expressions entered in readable form and evaluated by the calculation engine behind the interface. It is suited to users who want a desktop calculator for recurring numeric tasks, formulas, and unit-aware work, within the limits of the Linux GTK application described here.
