Image Viewer

Image Viewer is a Linux application from The GNOME Project for opening image files and carrying out basic image work. It is intended for the common task of looking through pictures on a desktop system, with controls centered on viewing rather than catalog management or illustration work. The program fits use cases such as checking a downloaded image, reviewing a photo, or opening a graphic from the file manager.

The application also includes editing functions, so it can handle simple adjustments without moving the file into a dedicated image editor.
