About this application

Extensions is a Linux utility from the GNOME Project for managing GNOME Shell extensions that are already installed on the system. It gives users a focused window for viewing extension entries and changing whether they are active in the GNOME desktop. The program is part of the GNOME ecosystem and is aimed at day-to-day extension control rather than browsing a broad software catalog.

The application works within a GNOME Shell session and is limited to GNOME extensions. It can show extension status, provide access to available preferences for extensions that include them, and handle basic enable or disable actions. Users who need to install new extensions may need a separate installation method or another tool designed for discovery and installation.
