About this application
Delta Patcher is a Linux utility for working with xdelta patches. It can apply an existing patch to a file and can also create a patch from two file versions. That makes it useful when you need to distribute only the differences between files rather than the full content.
The program is focused on the xdelta format and does not try to cover other patch types. Its role is narrow: prepare a patch from source and target data, then use that patch to reconstruct the updated file later. That fits workflows where versioned files or large binaries need small update packages.
