About this application

Converseen is a Linux application for batch image conversion and resizing. It is intended for cases where many image files need the same kind of treatment, such as changing formats, reducing dimensions, or preparing a group of pictures for storage or publication. Instead of editing files one by one, the user can assemble a list of images and apply conversion settings to the whole set.

The program is published by Francesco Mondello under the GPL-3.0 license. Its scope is focused on image file processing rather than general photo editing: it is suited to repetitive changes across multiple files, while tasks such as detailed retouching or layered composition belong to other kinds of image software. The listed platform is Linux.
