About this application

BG2BangleJS is an Android application developed by Phil Roggenbuck that relays blood glucose data from a mobile phone to a Bangle.js smartwatch. The software functions as a background bridge, taking glucose measurements collected by tracking utilities on the smartphone and transmitting them to the wearable device over Bluetooth.

Once configured, the application receives periodic readings from compatible blood glucose management tools running on the Android device. It then processes the numeric values and trends, pushing the updated information to custom watch faces or applications installed on the Bangle.js hardware.

The application is restricted to the Android platform and relies on external glucose monitoring software to supply data. It requires both a Bluetooth connection and an active Bangle.js smartwatch to display incoming readings.
