About this application

Bazaar is a graphical front end for finding and installing applications on a Linux desktop. Instead of typing package commands in a terminal, you browse a catalogue of available programs, read what each one does, and start an installation from the interface. The same window is where you return later to remove something you no longer use or to pick up an update.

The project is maintained collectively as The Bazaar Contributors and released under the GPL-3.0-or-later, so the source can be read, modified, and redistributed under those terms. It is published for Linux only; there are no Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS builds, and it works alongside your distribution's existing software management rather than replacing it. What appears in the catalogue depends on the sources your system is configured to draw from, so two machines may not show an identical list.
