About this application

Battery Monitor is an Android application that reports the state of the device battery in detail while the device is in use. Rather than reducing the battery to a single percentage, it presents the readings the system exposes about the cell and its current condition, updated as they change, so the display reflects what is happening at the moment it is read.

The application is built around observation rather than intervention. It reads and presents battery information; it does not attempt to alter charging behaviour or manage other applications. Users who want to understand how a device behaves during charging, during heavy use, or over the course of a day will find the readings collected in one place.

It is distributed for Android only, so there is no desktop counterpart, and the level of detail available depends on what a given device and Android version report to applications. The source is published by Tomasz Świstak under the GPL-3.0-or-later licence.
