About this application
Basque for AnySoftKeyboard is a language pack that adds Basque (Euskara) input to the AnySoftKeyboard on-screen keyboard for Android. It is an add-on rather than a keyboard in its own right: installing it registers a Basque layout and its associated word data with AnySoftKeyboard, which then offers the language alongside whatever other packs are present. Users switch to it from inside the keyboard's own language settings.
This structure is the main thing to know before installing. AnySoftKeyboard must already be on the device and selected as the active input method, otherwise the pack has nothing to attach itself to and will appear to do nothing. Other keyboards do not read these packs.
The package is maintained by Menny Even Danan, who also maintains AnySoftKeyboard itself, and is released under the Apache-2.0 licence. It targets Android only, matching the platform of the keyboard it extends.
