Bangumi

Bangumi is an Android client for the Bangumi service, an online catalogue and discussion community organised around anime, manga, games, music and similar media entries. Instead of reaching the site through a browser, the app presents its listings, entry pages and personal collection tracking in a native mobile interface. As a third-party client it sits on top of the upstream service: an account there, plus whatever the service's API exposes, sets the boundary of what the app can display or change.

The project is published by Chan under the MIT license, so forks, rebuilds and redistribution are permitted with attribution. Only an Android build is recorded here, which means desktop and iOS use fall outside what this entry covers.

This entry does not record specific screens, offline behaviour, or which parts of the service the client reaches. Anyone weighing it up for day-to-day tracking should read the project's own documentation.
