Bambu Studio

Bambu Studio is a slicing and print-preparation application for 3D printers, published by Bambu Lab. It takes a 3D model, arranges it on the build plate, and converts the geometry into the layer-by-layer toolpaths and machine instructions a printer needs. Typical work in the application involves setting layer height, infill, wall count, support structures and temperature profiles, then previewing the sliced result before sending it to the printer.

The project is released under the AGPL-3.0-only license, so the source can be studied and modified under those terms. This listing covers the Linux build; users on other operating systems will need to look elsewhere for a matching package.

As with any slicer, results depend on how closely the selected machine and filament profiles match the hardware in front of you, and profiles usually need adjustment for a specific printer, nozzle and material combination.
