About this application
Bahn-Vorhersage is an Android app that ranks train journeys by how reliable they are likely to be, rather than sorting them only by departure time or total travel duration. Connections for a given trip are presented in an order that puts the steadier options ahead of the fragile ones.
The reliability view is most useful for itineraries with changes, where the punctuality of one leg decides whether the next is caught. A traveller comparing several routings for the same trip can weigh a slower connection with generous transfer time against a faster one that depends on everything running to plan.
