About this application
Badge Magic is an Android app for writing content to programmable LED name badges. The user composes text and symbols on the phone and transfers the result to the badge over Bluetooth, which removes the need for a desktop utility or a cable when changing what the badge displays.
The app is aimed at the small LED badges commonly worn at conferences and events, where names, roles, or short messages need to be changed between sessions. Because both the composition and the transfer happen on the phone, a badge can be updated on site rather than being prepared in advance.
Badge Magic is developed by FOSSASIA and licensed under Apache-2.0. It runs on Android only, and it is useful only in combination with compatible LED badge hardware that accepts data over Bluetooth.
