About this application
AudioTube is a desktop client for YouTube Music, developed by the KDE community. It puts the service's search and browsing — tracks, artists, albums, playlists — into a Qt-based application window, so listening happens in a normal desktop program with its own playback controls instead of in a browser tab.
As a front end, it supplies the interface and the desktop integration while the audio and the catalogue come from YouTube Music. What can be played, and under what conditions, is decided by the service rather than by the application, so behaviour can change when the service does.
Packaging targets Linux desktops; there is no build for other operating systems. The source is released under GPL-2.0-or-later.
