About this application
Aria for Misskey is an Android client for Misskey, a federated microblogging platform where each server runs independently and communicates with others over the network. As a client, Aria connects to a server the user already has an account on; it does not host content itself, so the timelines, moderation rules, and available features depend on which instance is signed in to.
Day-to-day use covers the usual microblogging actions: reading timelines, posting notes, replying, and following accounts across the wider federated network. Because Misskey servers expose their own API, the client's behaviour tracks what the connected instance supports, and a feature present on one server may be absent on another running a different version.
The application is released under the AGPL-3.0-only licence and is listed for Android. It requires an existing Misskey account and a reachable server to be useful; there is no offline or standalone mode, and no desktop build is covered by this entry.
