About this application
Arcticons Day & Night is an icon pack for Android that replaces app icons with monotone line drawings. The artwork is outline-based rather than filled: each icon is built from strokes of consistent weight, without gradients, shadows, or background shapes. The set is drawn in a single colour so that it reads against both pale and dark wallpapers, which is the reason for the day-and-night naming.
Being an icon pack, it does not change app behaviour or system settings. It supplies the icon assets and leaves the actual substitution to the home screen, so it needs a launcher that can load third-party icon packs. Icons for applications not covered by the set fall back to whatever the launcher does by default, usually the original icon from the app.
The pack is published by the Arcticons Team under GPL-3.0-only, so the source drawings can be studied, modified, and redistributed under the same terms. It targets Android only; there is no desktop counterpart.
