About this application
apps_Packages Info is an Android utility that inventories the applications and packages present on a device and presents their metadata in a browsable list. It is a continuation of the earlier ApplicationsInfos project, carrying forward its inspection features while adding colour coding, compact tags on list entries, and a link to Exodus privacy reports for the packages it finds. Alongside those additions, the release notes describe a set of basic fixes to existing behaviour.
The app works from data the system already exposes about installed packages, so its role is reading and organising rather than modifying anything. Colour and mini-tag cues are meant to make repeated scanning of a long application list quicker, and the Exodus lookup points outward to that project's tracker analyses instead of performing its own.
Distribution is limited to Android, and the source is released under the Apache-2.0 licence.
