Apple UnifiedNlp Backend

Apple UnifiedNlp Backend is an Android plug-in for the UnifiedNlp location framework. It supplies a network location provider that uses Apple Wi-Fi geolocation data as its source. When an application asks UnifiedNlp for a position, this backend can contribute estimates based on Wi-Fi network information rather than satellite fixes.

The component is intended for devices where UnifiedNlp is installed and configured to use one or more backends. It does not replace GPS hardware, and it does not provide a full location stack by itself. Its role is limited to passing Wi-Fi-based location answers into UnifiedNlp, subject to the capabilities and permissions of the Android system. The project is distributed by the microG Project under the Apache-2.0 license and targets Android devices.
