About this application
AppImage Pool is a Linux desktop client for browsing the AppImageHub catalog. It presents listed applications in a browsable collection, allows keyword search, and shows the fields supplied by AppImageHub for each selected item. The interface is intended to let users discover listed AppImage packages without visiting the catalog in a web browser.
The program operates as a front end to the AppImageHub listing. It can collect metadata from the catalog, group entries, and present selected items to the user, depending on the desktop environment. Because it is an AppImageHub client rather than a package manager, it does not itself build software, manage system libraries, or guarantee compatibility with every distribution. It runs on Linux only. The project is published by prateekmedia under the GPL-3.0-only license.
