ANONguard

ANONguard is an Android application from the JAP-Team whose stated purpose is to anonymise the device's Internet connection. Instead of letting traffic reach remote servers directly, it relays the connection through an anonymising service, so the address seen at the far end belongs to that service rather than to the phone or tablet. The scope described is the Internet connection itself, not a single browser tab or a single account, which places it closer to a system-level relay than to a privacy add-on inside one app.

The build recorded here targets Android only; no desktop or iOS package is listed. The source is published under the BSD-3-Clause licence, a permissive term set that allows reuse and redistribution, including in closed products, provided the copyright notice is kept and the authors' names are not used to endorse derivatives.
