AnkiEditor

AnkiEditor is a note editor that plugs into AnkiDroid on Android. Rather than replacing the flashcard app, it takes over the editing step: when a note is being written or revised, AnkiEditor supplies the editing surface for the note fields, and the result is handed back to AnkiDroid's collection.

The intended use is authoring work that goes beyond typing a word into a field, which is where the built-in editor of a mobile app tends to run short. Because it operates as a companion component, AnkiDroid needs to be installed for AnkiEditor to have anything to edit, and the pair only makes sense on the same device.

It is published by Jhon Kenneth Cariño under the GPL-3.0-or-later. The scope is deliberately narrow: this is an editing tool for notes, not a study client, so scheduling, review sessions, and deck management stay on the AnkiDroid side.
