About this application

AniSync is an Android client for AniList, the online service where users keep lists of the anime and manga they are watching, reading, planning or have finished. The application is built around an offline-first approach: entries are held locally on the device so that lists remain readable and editable without a connection, with changes reconciled against the AniList account when the network returns. This suits commuting, patchy coverage or anyone who prefers not to make a request for every list update.

Alongside the main list views, AniSync provides home screen widgets, so progress and current entries can be seen or advanced without opening the app. An AniList account is required, since the service supplies the media database and holds the authoritative copy of each list.

Marco-9456 publishes the project under GPL-3.0-only, a copyleft licence that requires derivative works to carry the same terms. Distribution covers Android alone, with no desktop or browser version in this entry.
