About this application

Android Permissions scans all applications installed on an Android device and displays the permissions each app has declared in its manifest. For each permission, the app shows the official name alongside a plain-language explanation of what that permission allows the system to grant — covering areas such as camera access, location, contacts, storage, and network connectivity.

The interface lets users browse permissions app by app or search across all installed software. This makes it practical to audit a device for apps that request capabilities that appear disproportionate to their stated function. The tool operates entirely on-device and requires no account or network connection to function.

As an Android-only utility, it presents read-only information drawn from the package manager; it does not revoke permissions or modify system settings.
