A way to display Android phone notifications on Linux
Android 2 Linux Notifications is an Android application that forwards notifications from an Android device to a Linux desktop. When a notification arrives on the phone — whether from a messaging app, email client, or any other source — the app relays it over the local network so it can appear on the connected Linux machine. This removes the need to glance at a physical device to stay aware of incoming alerts.
The app operates within the local network environment, meaning both the Android device and the Linux machine need to be on the same network for the forwarding to function. Setup involves configuring a companion component on the Linux side to receive and display the incoming notification data. The project is released under GPL-3.0-only and is limited to Android as the source platform; Linux is the only supported destination.
