About this application
AndrOBD MQTTPublisher is a plugin for the AndrOBD application on Android. It takes the OBD-II measurements that AndrOBD reads from a vehicle — such as engine speed, coolant temperature, or fuel consumption — and forwards them as messages to an MQTT broker. This allows those readings to be ingested by home automation platforms or any other system that subscribes to MQTT topics, enabling vehicle data to appear alongside household sensors in dashboards or automation rules.
Configuration of the broker address and topic structure is handled through the plugin's settings within AndrOBD. The plugin has no standalone function and does not run independently of the host application. It is licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later and targets Android only.
