A simple open source flashlight app
An Light | Flashlight is an Android application that turns the camera flash of a phone or tablet into a torch. Its purpose is narrow: switching the light on and off, without the additional screens, accounts, or settings menus that often accompany utilities of this kind.
The app depends on the hardware of the device it runs on. On a device without a camera flash, or where the flash cannot be controlled by ordinary applications, the function it provides is unavailable. It is published for Android; there is no build for other operating systems.
Source code is released by Neo Chou under version 3 of the GNU General Public License, in the "only" variant, so redistribution and modification must follow the terms of that particular version rather than a later one. Users who prefer small, single-purpose tools over multi-function utility suites are the intended audience.
