About this application
Aktivpause to Go is an Android app for working planned breaks into a day rather than leaving them to chance. The premise is that pauses are more likely to happen when they are scheduled and prompted, so the app handles the scheduling side and reminds the user when a break is due.
It fits people who spend long stretches at a desk or in front of a screen and want a structure to interrupt that. Because the emphasis is on planned intervals, it is closer to a routine-keeping tool than to a fitness tracker or an exercise library.
The publisher is SECUSO, the Security Usability Society research group, and the app is released under GPL-3.0-or-later. It is available for Android only, so there is no companion desktop version for people who would rather be reminded on the machine they are working on.
