BYOK and Chat with your model of choice using via OpenRouter
Aiyo is an Android chat client that reaches language models through OpenRouter. It follows a bring-your-own-key arrangement: you hold your own OpenRouter account, generate an API key there, and enter it into the app, which then uses that key for its requests. Model choice stays with you rather than being fixed by the developer, so the set of models you can talk to is whatever your own account can reach.
Because the app carries no service of its own, usage is accounted for on your OpenRouter side, and there is no separate subscription attached to Aiyo. The other side of that arrangement is that the app needs network access and a working key to do anything; nothing here describes a local model to fall back on.
