About this application
Afrikaans for AnySoftKeyboard is a language pack that adds Afrikaans input to the AnySoftKeyboard on-screen keyboard for Android. It is not a keyboard in its own right: it contributes an Afrikaans layout and dictionary data that the host keyboard loads, so AnySoftKeyboard must already be installed and the pack enabled from within that application's settings before it has any effect.
Once active, the pack supplies the letter arrangement and accented characters used when writing Afrikaans, and provides the word list that AnySoftKeyboard draws on for its suggestion strip and autocorrection. Users who write in more than one language can leave the pack installed alongside other packs and switch between them from the keyboard itself.
The package is published by Menny Even Danan, the maintainer of AnySoftKeyboard, under the Apache-2.0 licence, and targets Android only. It has no interface of its own beyond whatever entry AnySoftKeyboard exposes in its own configuration screens.
