AELF - Bible and day's reading

AELF - Bible and day's reading presents the readings assigned to each day in the liturgical calendar, together with the text of the Bible for consultation outside the daily cycle. Opening the application brings up the readings for the current date; other dates can be selected to look ahead or back. The Bible text is browsable by book and chapter, so a passage can be read in full rather than only in the excerpt that a given day prescribes.

The interface is deliberately plain, with the reading text as the main element on screen. The application is oriented toward the liturgical material published by AELF, the body responsible for French-language liturgical texts, and the content it displays follows that source.

It is published by Epitre & co under the MIT licence and is available for Android; no other platform is covered.
